Vishnu Sahasranaama was chanted by Grandsire Bheeshma in response to King Yudhisthira's question (Kimekam Daivatam Loke....Who is the one Lord that should be meditated upon...) and features in the Anusasana Parva of Mahabharata. The Vishnu Sahasranaama is complete in that it includes the historical context, the Thousand Names of the Lord and the benefits accrued by chanting (Phala Shruti).

Devotees are invited to join in chanting the Vishnu Sahasranaama at the Temple every Saturday.
